Large Wall Art

Oversized Canvas Prints for Wide Walls

Large Wall Decor

Large canvases work in wide living rooms, master bedrooms with high ceilings, dining rooms with feature walls and open-plan layouts where smaller art gets lost. The general rule is that the piece should cover 60–75% of the wall it sits on. On a wall over eight feet wide, a single oversized print or a matched set of 2 or 3 fills the space.

Hallways and entryways with double-height ceilings also benefit from large wall art. A tall vertical canvas or wide horizontal piece anchors a space that would otherwise feel empty.

Large Wall Art Sets of 2 and 3

For very wide walls, a matched set of 2 or 3 often works better than a single oversized canvas. Sets of 2 share the same palette and dimensions across both pieces and work best for walls up to 8 feet wide. For walls wider than 8 feet, sets of 3 like the Desert Haze Set of 3 and Organic Flow Set of 3 work best. They stretch across walls that a pair would leave looking short. Each set arrives ready to hang with all canvases matched in colour and dimensions.

FAQ

What is considered large wall art?

Anything over 40 inches wide works as a single statement piece. For wider walls or rooms with high ceilings, sizes from 50 inches and up tend to scale better.

What rooms suit large wall art?

Large wall art suits wide living rooms, master bedrooms, dining rooms with feature walls, and hallways with double-height ceilings.

Should I choose one large canvas or a set?

For walls under eight feet wide, a single canvas usually works best. For wider walls or rooms with very high ceilings, a set of 2 or 3 fills the space more naturally.

Is large wall art harder to hang?

No, every piece arrives with a hanging wire pre-installed. One screw in the wall is usually enough, but for canvases over 50 inches wide it's worth using a wall anchor rather than relying on a screw alone.

What framing options are available on large prints?

Every large canvas is available as a stretched canvas or with a floating frame in oak, walnut, black, or gold. Both options arrive fully assembled and ready to hang.
